I got my son's 1st birthday cake done there the theme was Sports so I asked for balls to be on the cake and just to fit the theme it also was to have his photo there.. total cost for the cake was $95 so when I picked up the cake I was expecting something nice I was unpleasantly surprised to find a white cake with my son's picture and two plastic football and basketball, the kind that I could have found and placed on the cake by myself, there were also some toothpick looking balls and the plastic balloons sticking out of the cake, it was very cheaply done nothing was drawn on and it didn't look like a professional baker made it I will not be going back

User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsTurned off: After reading about Sweet Tooth Bakery in the newspaper I wanted to support this black owned business (Blvd@Cap Ctr location)...So, I took a magazine of a cupcake order I wanted to place...a staff member took the magazine and said the baker would call me...after several weeks of not hearing anything I decided to call to check on whether the cupcakes could be done or not...After being put on hold for length periods of time, it was determined that the cupcakes were too costly so I decided not place the order. I wanted my magazine so I returned to the store only to find out that they could not locate it...after being told to return for it two days later which I did, I was told that the magazine had been thrown out...monetary compensation was given but I was turned off by having to chase the baker down to give him my business and then the unprofessional handling of my item. It also appeared that the staff members didn't communicate with each other well. I did end up buying a cake from ST when I went to get my magazine the first time around and my guests were satisfied with the taste. I am big on service and ST didn't impress me at all in this area.

Are you commenting on the fact they lost your magazine or the quality of the product? Maybe their weakness is being disorganized but they certainly make up for that with delicious sweets. Just discovered this place a couple of days ago, so happy I did.
