User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have had a difficult time in trying to find a daycare for my son who is 2, that will keep him safe, happy and to help him develop intellectually mentally and socially. I am happy to say that my son loves the school and doesn't cry hysterically upon me leaving. The staff is great and welcoming to the parents and children. When I drop off and pick up my son all the children are happy and playing, no one is crying. As for the education component, he hasn't been learning at the level that he's use too, but I continue to teach him at home!! I rather for him to be safe and happy then in an abusive situation!!!!

I am VERY pleased!!! I currently have twins attending this center. While the children are taught play through learning, my experience have been nothing but postitve. My children are happy and excited about attending the center each morning. It is not a structured learning environment, so if that's what you are in search of you are looking at the wrong center.The Children's Center does have a catered lunch program that you can choose to participate in for a additional cost, however you can choose to bring your child's lunch. Prior to my twins attending the Children's Center, they attended a Center in which there was no lunch program at all!!! So at least here you do have options.

I would have to agree with the parent who stated that her child was held back after attending The Childrens Center. The teachers are not working hard enough to educate the children. If you look at the schedule you will notice that all the children do is play!!!!! My child has take a step back academically since attending the Childrens Center. And in addition they have a new policy where children who do not purchase hot lunch from the school will have to bring a lunch that they will not refrigerate or heat- They have a refridgerator AND a microwave for staff use as if it is more important for the staff to have hot food. This will be my childs LAST week at the childrens center!
