NEVER EVER WILL GO BACK: The Food was nasty and looked like it had been pulled out of the dumpster. The potatoe had no sour cream or chives and look like it was mashed up like a mashed potatoes. My husbands hamburger looked like it had been nawed on and mine looked like it had been smashed the hell out of. Will never ever will go back and don't recommend anyone go there.

On June 17, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. I visited the Wendy's at 5425 Silver Hill Rd District Heights, MD. I was participating in an event that was taking place at Suitland High School and I did not have much time before the next performance, so I walked over to Wendy's anticipating quick service so I could return to my duties at Suitland High School on time. Unfortunately, this DID NOT HAPPEN. None of the employees INCLUDING THE MANAGERS did not have on name tags so I can not identify who was who. When I walked in at 6:30 p.m., the young lady took my order and I waited… and waited… and waited. 35 minutes had passed before I finally received my food. In between the waiting I was also treated very rudely by one of the workers at Wendy's. A shift manager told me his name was Justin, but I do not know how true this is since the manager himself did not have on a name tag.
I ordered a large fruit bowl and the grilled chicken combo biggie sized. When my order was first taken a young lady (who did not speak or understand English) was making the food. She was told to go on break because a crowd of people began to come in and she was moving too slow due to not being able to speak English or understand English. After she went on break, Justin came in and began to prepare the orders. Justin was very incompetent and rude. When he was preparing the food he told me that he would not be able to put any tomatoes on my sandwich because they did not have anymore tomatoes in the store. I said “ok” because I really needed to get back to Suitland High School for the event I was participating in at the school. Then, no less than a minute later, Justin comes back to tell me that it will be 10 to 12 minutes for my grilled chicken sandwich to cook because they ran out. I was beginning to get upset at this point due to lack of professionalism but I said “ok” and waited because I had not eaten all day. It has been 20 minutes so far and I had not received my food. Some of my fruit in my fruit salad was spoiled (the honeydew melons) and my French fries were cold.
After 20 minutes my friend asked for a refill because we had been waiting for OVER 20 MINUTES at this point; Justin states “you need to ask someone else to get your refill.” I could not BELIEVE the comment that came out of his mouth. We were not being rude in spite of this ridiculous service and he speaks to her in that manner. THAT WAS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. The young lady who took my order got a refill for my friend and we continued to wait. 30 MINUTES into my wait Justin comes back, again and states that they do not have any pickles. I asked for tomatoes, pickles and lettuce to be on my sandwich, so as of right now only ONE item out of the three is going to be on my sandwich. I WAS FED UP AT THIS POINT. I clearly stated “There aren't any pickles in the entire store?” Justin states “NO PICKELS IN THE STORE.” I wanted my money back at this point because this was just absurd. FINALLY, a manager with a white shirt on tells me they have pickles in the store and I said “what about tomatoes?” She states they have tomatoes also. How is it at this point they have everything I want once I want my money back? Although it is now 35 MINUTES, (7:05) into my visit into Wendy's I go ahead and take the food because I am feeling sick and need something to eat. I went to sit down to eat but the store was so squalid, I could hardly find a place to sit down without smelling the trash or seeing trash on so many of the tables. When I was finishing my food I asked a worker in a red shirt what the young man's name was and he told me Justin. As I stated earlier, I do not know if he told me the correct name because, he too did not have on a name tag.
