The cafe has been completely renovated, new kitchen, staff, everything. The new chef is amazing! They have basically a Lebanese Taverna type menu, all with fresh ingredients. They're still working with a new staff and require a little patience to get things right all the time, but overall I am thrilled with the change. It's like a completely different restaurant and the atmosphere is still friendly. The entertainment when I was there was incredible, with professional bellydancers. Everyone was having a good time. Highly recommended.
Yuck!: I have been to this cafe a dozen times either for night entertainment, lunch or breakfast. The entire establishment smells, the tables are dirty, and the coffee cups were soapy. The food quality is poor and I would question how hygenic the kitchen is. I would never eat there again. Entertainment is so, so. Local fare. A good hippy establishment at most.
It's ok: I work in Greenbelt and was looking for a nice nearby restaurant that was also vegetarian friendly. After looking at their menu online I could see that about half of it was vegetarian, and of the vegetarian food, a third was vegan. I was very much looking forward to going and eventually went with my husband. The restaurant was a bit run down, and with little seating. The food was 'ok', the sort of thing I could easily make at home myself. The price was about average as well. I probably wont go back.
