New Home Baptist Church

Pastor Hicks is the best Pastor in PG County: Sure I attend the church and am prone to speak well of my Pastor. However, I've attended other churches in the area and I have not received as honest a Word as I have at New Home. Pastor Hicks addresses the root of today's societal problems...SIN! Too many ministries in the area are leaning towards prophecy and prosperity. There is nothing wrong with an inspirational message, but God is still faithful and just to punish sin. Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. We need to know that you cannot simply profess Christ and expect God to pour out blessings. It requires a lifestyle change. Submitting your will or lifestyle to His will or plan for your life. New Home's teaching ministries lend themselves to instructing the lost and backsliders back into the way.

The other reason why I recommend this church is that Pastor Hicks is personal. He cares about his congregation. He gets to know you by name. There are no secret service agents around him wired up to keep everyone away. He is full of integrity. He labors before the Lord and it shows when he preaches. He is an awesome man of God, preacher, teacher, father, husband and friend. I pray that if you have not found a church home, you consider making New Home Baptist Church your church home. Be Blessed!
