User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI'm picky when it comes to good food...and their food isnt anything less than awesome. I'd recommend it to anyone. And there coleslaw isnt like your regular coleslaw. It's great too. The waiter was nice but a little snooty so I give the place a 4 b/c of that.

For those of you who are not aware of it, one of the (if not THE) best things at Houston's is not on the menu. It is the chicken tenders. They are 100 times better than any I've ever had. If you don't mind eating what some people call "unsophisticated food," such as chicken tenders or ribs, those are some of the best things. Houston's is definitely modestly priced for the area. The service is also impeccable. The waiters are willing to spend a moment of their time with you to discuss the menu. In fact, once, they didn't give me honey mustard at first with my chicken tenders. They said they'd give me the meal free and didn't put it on the check. This shows that they strive for perfection and they are definitely not far off. Anyway, I "tipped" the cost of my meal. For those of you who could return and be worried, it is no longer called Houston's, it's called woodmont grill. However, they are still owned by the Houston's chain and have an almost identical menu as well as the old "Houston's Restaurant" sign out front. I would give houston's 6 stars if I could.
