This is a terrible building to live in. From the start we had major issues with bug problems. They didn't even clean out the cabinets or the rest of the apartment when we moved in and there were live and dead roaches everywhere. During the night you can hear rats crawling in the walls too. Later on we had bedbugs, and mice in our apartment. I highly recommend steering clear of this building. Definitely not worth it.
Decent enough: The apartments are fairly cheap, and the floor to ceiling windows are nice. I did have some problems with bugs, but the apartment was sprayed. There's plenty of parking, and it's close to I-495/95. The buildings aren't that nice, and some of the residents do litter and mess up the elevator. However, I'm a student, and I haven't had any major problems.
You'll do yourself a favor by NOT living here!: No one should live with roaches in their bed, desk, and kitchen, and have a building manager who would yell, lie, and threaten to hang up on you. Unfortunately, that has been my experience living in Heritage Park. The management is ineffective and undependable in dealing with serious health issues such as roach and rat infestation. Furthermore, the assistant building manager is a very rude, impatient, and unhelpful person. It took me nine months and countless calls and personal visits to the office before my apartment was treated for roaches! It should not have taken that long since the extermination company comes to the apartment complex every other week to do work. I am a college student who doesn't want to pay a lot for housing and even though Heritage Park is a relatively cheaper apartment in the area, no one should live with roaches and rats, and have a hostile building manager who is mean and unreliable. I have consulted a lawyer about my situation and I guess the only positive thing about my experience living in Heritage Park is that I am now more informed about my rights as a tenent and I learned more skills in dealing with bad landlords. I say, save yourself the stress and just DON"T LIVE HERE.
