User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBomberos de Langley Park: The firefighters at station 34, Chillum-Adelphi Volunteer Fire Department, are know as the Bomberos, which is Spanish for firefighter. They cover the neighborhoods of Chillum, Adelphi, and Langley Park. From what I hear on the streets eveyone loves them, and fellow firefighters in Prince George's County regard them as "elite" because of their skills at firefighting and emergency response. The Bomberos run an average of 6,000 calls a year, 2,000 fire-related, and 4,000 ambulance/rescue. The Bomberos have an extremely well-trained canine, named "Tiller" who has undergone extensive training, and is able to roam the neighborhood looking for danger.
