We were recommended this place by friends. Being from NY, we love Indian food and we really enjoyed it. Got basic stuff, samosas, Chicken Tikka Masala, Bhuna Gosht. Nice flavor . Tried other joints in the neighborhood, this was definitely the best. We will recommend it to others.
Apparently, salt and masala are not part of the restaurant's ingredient list. This is by far the some of worst Indian food we have ever had in the United States. The reason for not putting salt or proper masala is because they think "white" Americans can't handle it. We know they can handle it and are not culinary novices. The restaurant leave a salt and pepper shaker on the table expecting that to be a cure-all for tasteless food.
The food is very expensive and not worth even $1.00!!!!
Strictly NOT recommended!
And yes, we are Indian and do know what good Indian food tastes like.
Used to love carry-out from here (dine-in was not good, due to higher prices and strange table service). But last time I ordered, the food didn't taste as good as it used to. I saw a different person there too, so I don't know if they changed management or not. Also, the prices had increased 20%. So now it will be over $15 per dish for food that doesn't taste as good. I will be looking for a new Indian restaurant.
