Overrated. Services was extremely slow the food was average. There isn't much excuse for slow service when there are only 5 occupied tables in the restaurant. Never had a Popover in my life (glad I can check that one off my bucket list). There is nothing French about this place. Went for my birthday and didn't stay for dessert. Its a landmark all right... the one I would use to tell some one how to get to the golf course next door.
missing out: This restaurant is one of the county's originals, in a fabulous location. The potential is there. The execution is not. The food is only fair. Fortunately for the business, there are plenty of people still coming, particularly for banquets. The bar and lounge are the best parts of the operation.
Not like it used to be: The food is fair at best, service is great.
