Auburn Towing

After reading these reviews, I was really nervous -- but since my son's car was impounded and the police told me I had to call Auburn to get it back - I didn't have a choice. The driver was definitely not friendly, but I used the "kill'em with kindness" approach and actually had an ok experience. The price was definitely outrageous, and we had to meet at an undisclosed location; but after talking to the driver for a little bit, he actually let down his guard and was somewhat human. And, it's a good thing, because when I went to start the car -- the battery was dead. The Auburn driver helped me out and gave the car a jump. Of course, I guess it's the least he could do with the price he charged for the towing -- but I did appreciate his assistance.

Overcharged-Absolutely disrespectful, rude and condescending employees. Would strongly recommend NOT using Auburn Towing. There are other ways of doing business.

could not be any worse: This has been by far one of the most horrific experiences Ive ever had with any company of any kind. This "business" is run by a gentleman who refuses to divulge the business address until he deems fit. When I contacted Auburn Towing about a pickup, I had asked about any possible effect being a member of AAA might have on the overall cost. The rude response that I received was "I dont work for AAA so no you dont get a rate". I found this to be both extremely rude and ignorant. The morning of my agreed upon car pick up, I contacted Auburn (at an hour requested by Auburn that was said to be the time their lot opened) to ask again where they are located. I was told that it would be another hour later that I would have to wait and that I was to pick up my car at what turned out to be a random gas station the next town over. I asked what happend to their opening hour, Auburn strangely responded that there "isnt someone available 24 hours a day". We then proceeded to be driven to find our car to a small lot that was in no way affiliated with any labled business. Senseless and absoultely infuriating. Avoid this business at all costs.
