Hi all,
I have a 2001 Sienna that Igot from Fitzgerald Toyota in Gaithersburg, For 8 years I have always gone back to have them work on my van because of Mr. Gil Briggs, the service director. This man is super. I have so much trust in him because he is genuin, truthful, kind, patient and the best service director that I ever met. Mr. Briggs is never too busy to listen to anyone and makes me feel like a VIP. I recently had the check engine light come on. I took the van in to fitzgerald service in Gaithersburg, . I talked to Mr. Evans Adu as to what might be wrong with my van. He explained everything to me to the best of his knowledge. He was very nice to me but I told him I had to see Gil Briggs about this because he had helped me in the past. As usual Mr. Briggs was busy on the phone but he invited me in without hesitation. He talked to me and explained everything in detail using diagrams. He even worked out some discounts for me to make it easy on my wallet. I can tell you Gaithersburg Fitzgerald Service Department is blessed to have a director like Mr.Gil Briggs. There is no other way like Gil Briggs’ way. Thanks Mr. Briggs. I truelly, truelly come back to the Service Department because of you and as promised I will always come back just because of you. Thank You! Thank You! And God bless.

I came to Fitzgerald's Auto Mall as a very skeptical potential customer. I was soon won over by the knowledgeable and professional demeanor of all the staff. They treat you like a VIP customer no matter who you are or what service you require.
They were especially helpful and instrumental in getting full reimbursement for my Toyota when I couldn't get to them for my routine oil change and went to a Jiffy Lube. Jiffy Lube only put back in a small amount of oil and it cause my engine to seize up and the car abruptly stopped running. I was about to get on to 270 and I could have been involved in a fatal accident if my car had lost power and stopped suddenly as I was traveling down 270. I was very fortunate indeed. Fitzgerads Toyota Mgr. assured my USAA adjuster that my car was towed there with not low oil but rather NO oil in the crank case. USAA reimbursed me for the value of my as yet unpaid off car loan which allowed me to purchase another car.
In another situation, I brought my husband's car in to have the oil changed and I asked them to check the tail lights and head lamps in case any had burned out. My husband and I do a lot of driving and tail lights being out seem to happen more frequently for some reason. Later that night my husband got off work and went to Fort Belvoir (we live in VA) to run errands. He was stopped by the base police and given a $90. ticket because his tail light was out. Needless to say I was upset because I had just supposedly had this done the day before. The very next day I took the car back in to have the tail light replaced and ran into Dennis Duffy the Service Mgr.
I had delt with him before and he actually remembered me! I told him what happened with my husband's car including the part about receiving a $90. ticket. Without batting an eye, Mr. Duffy apologized for our inconvenience and said he would have a check sent to us to reimburse us for the ticket my husband had received and he also replaced the tail light free of charge. Now that's service! We all make mistakes, but it's how you handle it that separates you from the other businesses. I work in MD and live in VA but I am loyal to Fitzgerald's because of the excellant service I receive and the high caliber of people they employ. Sincerely, Lynne
