    Great Local Coffee Shop: I really like City Dock Coffee, and even though I still go to Starbucks, the bagels and pastries are much better here at City Dock Coffee. I guess it is hard to discuss coffee in the U.S. without comparisons to Starbucks. The pastries are made locally and unlike Starbucks, you can get your bagel toasted.

    I actually prefer the espresso drinks from Starbucks (my favorite is a Grande Wet Cappuccino). But the chai latte is much better here at City Dock Coffee. In fact, I am afraid that I am known as "chai guy" by one of the cutest (in a goth/renny fashion) baristas. They use Oregon Chai, which I prefer to Starbucks Tazo Chai. They have a small outdoor seating and FREE Wi-Fi access. Beats paying $29.95/month for Wi-Fi at Starbucks.
