Ambroto's Tattoo

I went to go get an tattoo today and Mike did my tattoo. Let me just say that the tattoo that I got was sooo lovely. I love it so much. They have plenty of designs to choose from and a big plus is that they are very clean and also very nice. My experience there was better than anywhere else I've been to get a tattoo. The price of the designs are worth it and they are all creative. I felt welcomed and they made me feel comfortable when I was getting tattoo done. If you are a walk-in you don't have to wait anytime to be served and you are done getting your tattoo in no time. GO TO AMBROTO"S TATTOO and another plus is that they aren't but an 1 1/2 block from silver sprinng station.

I just got some work done by Daryl and I have to say he is on his game. Very professional and thorough with his prep. The shop is small but it's perfect. I knew it was going to be a good experience as soon as I walked it. Comfortable, clean, and good humored, I'm definitely going back for as much work as I can get done while I'm in DC. A++

If you are going to get a tattoo or a piercing, you should go to a place that is clean and safe first of all. Ambrotos is clean and safe!
If you are going to get a tattoo, try to remember that you will have this for the rest of your life (unless you decide to endure painful laser removal later) and you are paying for ART! Your tattoo should be something that you are happy with so you should go to the best to get it. I have been going to Ambrotos for a few years and I am continually amazed at the awesome work done in this shop! The tattoo artists are talented and can make anything custom that you want. Personally, I have gone in to Mike Smith, told him what I wanted and he drew up a sketch for me. I really liked what I saw and (since he is an artist and I am not) I told him that I trusted his abilities and I could not be happier. My right leg is almost complete and it is all original. If my arms were long enough, I would post some pictures. Everyone that has seen my leg is completely blown away by the colors and by the details. The best part is, I don't have any scarring and I have seen some tattoos (when other people show me theirs) where their skin has ridges. I love the art that I have done at Ambrotos. I love that the needles are all single use. I love that you can go in and ask one of the artists if they can draw something up for you and if you don't like it, they change it to suit you because they want you to be happy with your tattoo. The price is so reasonable and the people in the shop are so talented. I moved away from the Silver Spring area and I still refuse to go anywhere else because of the quality of work I get. I drive an hour each way but it is well worth it for what I have to enjoy. Stop in there and check out the portfolios and talk to the artists.
