User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBel Air Bakery has the best cakes we have been getting cakes there since I was born and they have always been great. I just recently got my wedding cake from there and it was soo moist and decorated exactly they way I wanted. We had many compliments on the taste as well as the way the cake looked.Bel Air Bakery has always been a part of our family celebrations!!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWe went in for a cake tasting - what a disaster! The only cake they let us try was so dry & powdery, I had to ask what it even WAS! Turns out, it was their "pound cake" - and that they did not offer anything else to try. Nothing- not frostings, not yellow cake (their only wedding cake alternative to the aforementioned pound cake), not any of their fillings! When we asked the young lady "helping" us to try the raspberry & bavarian creme, she said they don't have any there (mind you, we were in the bakery) but she would see what she could find. She eventually brought out some red glop on a paper towel that turned out to be strawberry.
All in all- just a horrible expirience all together. Don't bother with them if you need a wedding cake! There's a great one in Aberdeen that you might try- Parke Place- delicious!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsYummy stuff and great decorating.: I think I've gotten every cake since moving to Bel Air in 95 from here and I've never ever been disappointed! In fact, I've always gotten comments on the cakes decorations and the taste. I walk into this bakery and wonder why the employees aren't all 500 lbs. I WOULD BE. It smells absolutely incredible in there. The cookies are great. I've gotten cookies on a stick for my son's birthday to bring to school instead of the old fashioned cup cakes.
