Worst Chinese around. Overpriced to boot.
I wanted to try it, as I hadn't been totally thrilled with the other places that I had tried in the area. This was a little more expensive than the other places, but I thought I would give it a go. That was a big mistake. The food was bland at best. The Kung Pao chicken (one of the benchmarks that I rate chinese places on) was peanuts, below average chicken, oil, and hot peppers. There were no veggies, there was no sugar (which I can be alright with). It was just hot.
I also got the Moo Shi Pork. Also bland, very little pork, lots of cabbage, few onions. Despite the ingredients, there was nothing to give that dish any flavor. The pancakes? The first two were nearly torn through.
My friend got Beef with snowpeas. It contained those two ingredients as well as watercress. It was drowned in oil (on the same level as the Kung Pao), and tasteless. The Lo Mein that we got... the same.
The spring rolls were alright. I'll give them that.
At $10 per entree, I expected a whole lot more than what I received. I would have at least wanted average food. It wasn't even that.
