User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI saw a review in the local paper about the restaurant and decided to try it for lunch. I had passed it before because parking can be difficult. I parked nearby and walked. Wow, was I glad I did. A friend and I shared dishes from their lunch menu. Very reasonably priced. Great authentic taste. Each of the dishes we had was superb and I could eat their spring rolls forever - light and not greasy. Very well prepared. I will go back and try more things now. A very nice selection on the menu with some specials posted on the board outside.

So far, in four visits (1 lunch and 3 dinners), I have enjoyed every meal. This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. A great neighborhood restaurant.-

A few months back I was looking for authentic Thai food in the area and saw the reviews posted here. Wow!! I love Ruan Thai. I have visted the restaurant for dining as well as takeout over 5 times in the last 3 months and have even gotten my mother (who doesn't care for new foods) addicted. She loves it! I love their drunken noodle with tofu and beef as well as with just chicken and their vegetarian spring rolls are to die for. This is by far the best thai food in Maryland. While it may look like a whole in the wall fr the outside, it is a very quaint restaurant and is great for dates. I love Ruan and I am sure you will as well. I may have to make a trip this evening. Enjoy!
