User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI know many people who highly recommended this place. Everything I had was good, but not great. The beef tacos were more flavorful than the chicken tacos. The chips and salsa and cheese dip were also tasty. I found the outside seating had a neat ambiance to it, but it was quite noisy and a bit uncomfortable sitting in plastic lawn furniture. The indoor seating looks more comfortable and private. Prices seems average for the area. I doubt anyone would be disappointed going here, but it's not one of my favorites.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsDined there for lunch, after a recommendation, and was very disappointed. The service is excellent, but the food is very "Americanized" and bland. My shrimp were dried out and the food tasted like it was out of a can. I am a bit spoiled having lived in California for 6 years and used to true "Mexican" cuisine. I've had better and more authentic burritos off the truck. Won't go back.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI have dined here numerous times as it is the only "Mexican" style restaraunt around. I love the tortillas and chips and salsa. However, the food does not seem very Mexican to me. Having lived in California and having Mexican family it's just not my idea of Mexican at all. There seems to be another influence in the tastes...most likely Salvadoran as that is the major Latin population around this area. The atmosphere and service is awesome though and I think you will have an overall pleasant dining experience.
