I have to agree with the other person who commented on Dr. Chatterjee and her staff. The front staff is very grouchy and makes me feel like I'm bothering them when I call or come in, although I've never waited 20 minutes on hold. They are very prompt with paperwork. Dr. Chatterjee's nurse handles my children roughly when examining them. She has to measure my infant son two or three times to get an accurate measurement. Even my older daughter says she doesn't like her. Dr. Chatterjee is nicer than her staff and her English is fine, but she continually downplays my concerns for my children. I am not comfortable with this practice and I don't feel my children are getting the best healthcare from Dr. Chatterjee and her staff. I have been to other doctors in this practice and they have been more proactive in my children's health, and their staff is friendlier too.
Dr. Chandana Chatterjee is a Wonderful, Caring, Knowledgeable Doctor who I would recommend to anyone. She is always willing to see my children even if they just have a cold, but of course I think it is something else. We have been going to Dr. Chatterjee since my son was born and he is now 15. She was at the hospital for each of my children to make sure everything was OK. I love the fact that she is always the one on call at Christmas because it never fails we get some illness on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day! Dr. Chatterjee knows each of my children's likes/dislikes, laughs with them at their stories and is always willing to listen to them. Her Nurse Practioner, Ms. Thistle is also just as wonderful and I wouldn't have a problem recommending either of them. I do not agree with the one review that Dr. Chatterjee is hard to understand, she is perfectly clear in her English. I do agree the front office staff can be a little grouchy, but as the saying goes, you get further with sugar then you do salt! My only other concern is sometimes your wait time can be a little excessive but in the end it is all worth it because Dr. Chatterjee knows my children inside and out and that is worth the wait!
We have been going to Dr. Chatterjee for almost 3 years and my daughter loves her! When we first started going she was very afraid of the doctor in general...Dr. Chatterjee makes children feel comfortable and that she is on their level. I have and would highly reccomend her practice to anyone. Yes, at times the front staff comes of a little "stressed" but it is no bearing on the quality of care we have gotten.
