Mixed Experience: Our first impression of this restaurant was wonderful - beautiful decor, attentive staff and plenty of tempting specials to choose from. Our lobster salad was good, but ordinary. We followed that with the seafood ravioli appetizer, which was served bubbling hot and absolutely wonderful. For entrees we had a venizen/duck combo (the duck was excellent; the venizen a tad overcooked) and a California bass prepared with capers, olives and tomato sauce that just melted in your mouth. For dessert we shared a tirimisu (spelling?) that was the best I can remember eating. The problem was the ambiance. Beautiful, intimate restaurant, linen tablecloths, elegant atmosphere, and then live music that completely ruined it. The entertainment was a singer who used a synthesizer with various sounds and tried to sound like Kermit the Frog or Al Hirt (he actually made noises like a trumpet!) and heaven only knows who else. Wonderful Experience: Alberto's is a wonderful dining experience, it's a perfect place for a special night. It's a little pricey but the service and food is well worth the price that you pay. They believe in pure customer satisfaction.
