Don White's Chrysler Jeep and Dodge

Service dept. is lousy. When speaking with Chuck to schedule an appt. I had some questions about the powertrain warranty. He became extremely rude, most likely because I sounded like I knew what I was talking about!!! I only take my Jeep there when I have to, when something is covered under warranty. Otherwise I would never take it there. Funny the first time I had to take it there, Chuck tried to tell me that they give better service than my personal mechanic and they will wash the Jeep for me too! Then he asked if my mechanic would do that, which is no, but in the next couple of visits there, my Jeep has never been washed after that first time!!! So much for that!

It took four trips to Don White’s to get my leaking sunroof fixed in a new Grand Cherokee. I diagnosed the problem after the third trip, a clog drain line, and demanded it be replaced. I found their customer service to be very poor, if not confrontational, toward the average guy who wants their new car to work.

Dropped our Wrangler off on a Monday night at the night-drop after speaking with a service rep the week prior. We were told that it would be seen by a technician on Tuesday. After calling Tuesday afternoon, we learned that "things changed" and they had no intention of looking at it until Wednesday at the earliest. I live by a schedule, as do most, and pulled the car from their service station and took it to Heritage Mazda in Reisterstown. They were very accomodating and inspected the car that very afternoon.

If you have days and days to be told that "we'll get to it", by all means see Don Whites! Otherwise, take it elsewhere.
