User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI bit expensive. I went there for several items: mower blade, chainsaw blade and fertilizer. I left when I saw the prices. I think I saved about 40% overall by going to Home Depot. Can't say that I like Home Depot, but in these tight budget days, price matters.

Mailbox Installion.
I purchased a new mailbox and post from Clarks Hardware last week after somebody ran into it and broke the post. It was really nice that Clarks had a big selection of mailboxes and that I could get it installed in two days. They came out to deliver the mailbox and set the post in concrete while I was at work, which was exactly what I wanted. I would absolutely recommend Clarks to anyone who needs a new mailbox and somebody to install it for them. -

A Moderen Old Fashion Hardware Store: It is had to belive that in this day and age a store like this still exist. It is a store that is after a hundred plus years is still in the same family. Forget Lowes & Home Depot : in this store the clerks know about the products they sell. They sell lumber, screws, paint, professional and residentual lawn mowers and a lot more .Check out the Wright Sentar mower. It is one hell of a mower. It sounds like a Harley Davidson & if they [ H. D. ] made one it would be the Wright that Clarks sells.Two more things about Clarks. 1. It is a Big store & 2. I had the privelage of having the owners wife wait on me once. Yeal I got good service.

I hear what you are saying but I love Clarks. They only carry better and best quality products and will not sell the cheap products that will not last even though they are less expensive. I have found that with tools, blades and such you get what you pay for. Either you have to sharpen it more often or you need to replace it more often. I hope it works out for you. But again places like Home Depot sell good, better, and best. Don't be fooled into buying something below par for what you need.
