User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI Was at the Mid-Atlantic reptile show last weekend and a vendor at the show said I should check this store out, so I did and it truly is a nice little pet shop just down the road from where the reptile show was being held, the place was clean and the animals looked great. I asked one of the employees how long they had been in business and they said they had been at this location since the 1960's!! Not bad with all the superstores around I guess.
We walked in the place with a baby corn snake and walked out of the place with a pair or hedgehogs for my youngest and a 16 week old sugarglider for myslef...what can I say...they were very cool.-

They take very terrible care of their reptiles. Do not purchase their reptiles. I have seen lizards with prolapsing, lizards with missing toes which is admittedly hard to not see, way too much fecal matter left around on the loose substrate (which is a TERRIBLE idea for baby lizards anyway). The adult bearded dragons are kept on this large, green, substrate that is always in their water and in their mouths and covering their scales and feet.
While I have usually been met with good service, I have the feeling the owners just do not care about the quality of their reptiles. Very recently I saw dead anoles. One of them was a blackened skeleton! The other was dead and it's hind quarters were starting to rot. I did NOT want to see this and I was extremely angry that I had to see it. Other lizards that I have seen look less and less healthy the more time they spend in that store. I wish they would stick to selling only supplies and furred animals, because it seems to be the only animals they actually care about. -

Havent been to this store before, I was told my White Mash Pet Center to check the place out as they had a nice selection of reptiles. I was looking for a baby Ball Python for our 10 year old.
The place had dozens of snakes and informed us of the pro's and con's of this new scaley pet..we were happy with the service, the prices were in line and the place was pretty clean.
The place was actually having cub scout program in the store at the time of our vist and we actually learned a few thing about other pets on our visit.
