Dr Rutkowski and her staff are some of the most helpful people, I've been to for primary care. She doesn't talk down to you as some doctors do. She talks to you which gives it more of a personal touch when she is dealing with you. The staff at the Md Primary Care are some of the nicest people, and always professional, whether on the phone or in person I have never been turned off by her or her staff.
Over 14 years Dr Janice Rutkowski has played a vital part in my health and well being. I would fully recommend her to any friend or family member who is looking for a doctor who cares enough to seek out a specialist for 2nd opinions. One time I was diagnosed as a possible case of fibromyalgia and that was from a specialist she had sent me to, she scheduled a time to get me an MRI and it showed her that it was a sinus infection. She wanted me to see a specialist for ears nose and throat to let them determine if she is correct in the diagnosis. She was correct. This all took place over a 3 day period as she knew I was in pain at the time. She made things move fast for me.
I will forever be her patient as long as I live close to her facility in Odenton.
This pertains to Dr Rutkowski. As far as patients feelings and concerns come first, this is not her way of buisness. The office's policy to be seen anywhere but their office, you first have to see your primary care provider first, even if the problem can not be fixed by her. Therefore you are paying twice for your problem. I feel a doctor should have the patients best interest in mind and how they feel. Now adays everyone wants to give you a quick fix and not spend the time caring, and this is def. her way of doing things! BEWARE

I think it, would be impossible to get a primary care physician's referral based on your self diagnosis. You see your Primary care doctor so they can determine the best course of action that would help you the most. I would think she did care enough to see you and then referred you. I know thats the case with me and I really appreciate that because if I'm sick all I think about is getting better and so does she. You shouldn't think about money at a time like that.
Obviously, you have a communications problem, not a medical problem. Dr. R speaks English (and French); you appear to speak neither. She's a fine doctor and human being!
