    My dad went here when he was a kid and now he takes me and my sister and my mom in the summer. They are so nice there and it's just so family oriented and old fashioined. Like a Happy Days kind of feel. I love it there. This area is so blan but this is so great.

    ALWAYS GO ESPECIALLY DURING HOT SUMMER DAYS: MY CHILDREN AND I ALWAYS GO THERE FOR HOMEMADE ICE CREAM IT TASTES LIKE THE ICE CREAM MY DAD USED TO MAKE WHEN I WAS LITTLE. MY CHILDREN THINK THAT IT IS NEAT THE WAY THEY PUT WAX PAPER ON TOP OF THE CONTAINERS THEN WRAP IN NEWSPAPER. WITH THE OVER STUFFED CONTAINERS YOU CANT BEAT THE PRICE. I JUST BRING IT HOME AND PUT IT IN MY OWN CONTAINER TO KEEP IT FRESH. IT BRINGS BACK THE MEMORIES OF THE GOOD OLD DAYS WITH OUT THE WAIT.

    Best Homemade Icecream: If you like a charming country setting for some of the best homemade icecream in the world, then you'll love Simmons' Store. The prices are very reasonable and the service is in the true Carroll County work ethic!
