This is my favorite restaurant in Maryland. The food is excellent and the portions are so large that you always end up taking something home. My favorite is the stuffed shrimp smothered in cheese, it is the best. We have always received prompt attention and very friendly service. I would recommend the Olive Tree for a wonderful evening with fine dining !

I have been to this restaurant twice and will not be going back. The first time I went, I met up with some friends at the bar. I sat there for atleast 20 minutes before I was even acknowledged. The bartender walked past me I dont know how many times helping other people around me. The second time was the exact same bartender. I wanted to give the place another try assuming they were busy last time but no, there were only 6 people in the bar and again I sat while a gentleman sat next to me got his drink ordered his food finished his drink got his food and left. Here I sat with a 20 bill in hand and my ID and she finally acknowledged me sitting there as like "oh I didn't see you sitting there" I have friends in the bartending business that work at much busier places than the olive tree and manage to atleast acknowledge their customers upon arrival. I have never not tipped someone but this was a first. I finished my one beer in the fear that I would be there all night waiting for a second.
