User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI had a great experience at the Margate Sunoco. Joe, the owner, is very personable, professional and is the customer's contact person.
He took my car in at exactly the time promised and it was done in less time than he said (2hrs). He was very honest and the price was nearly half of the other shops in the area.
I had called around all morning to approx 7 other shops, knowing the repair I needed. All the quotes I got were $160+. I then called Joe for a quote (having never been there) after seeing the reviews on yahoo. He did a great job that day for $90! I couldn't have been happier. He explained everything about the repair after he was done and even asked if I wanted to old car part back.
He also mentioned another repair I needed, which I knew about and couldn't afford to fix. He even told me how to try to fix it myself and what part to buy at the auto part store down the street. If that's not honesty, then I don't know what is!
I would really recommend him/the shop. Definitely a place I would go back to for good work and could trust. Joe is super-nice and you feel respected and like you are being treated honestly and fairly.
The location of the shop is good (I waited for my car) because there are many places to walk to while waiting (Watson's greenhouse, 7-11, friendly's, dunkin donuts, etc.)-

Joe is a great guy who will work with you if you have any specific needs for your car. His rates are reasonable and the work is good.

Joe does great work and treats your car as if it were his. I can't say enough good things, but in the world of shady over priced mechanics, Joe's shop is a breath of fresh air.
