This small museum encompasses two historic synagogues, the classic Lloyd Street Synagogue (third oldest in the U.S.) and the ornate Moorish Style Bnai Israel that is still in active use along with an excellent collection of regional Jewish documents and artifacts that are presented in rotating exhibits. A nice little gift shop. Located within walking distance of Inner Harbor and just off I-83 where it ends in downtown Baltimore, it is easy to get to and definitely worth a visit if you are visiting the City or an outing if you live there and have an interest in Jewish history. Several Jewish delis, Attman's being the best known, located nearby.
