This was one of the most incredible dining experiences i have ever had. yes, it is pricey ($240 for 2 of us), but the food and wine were exquisite. We had seafood bisque, tuna and hamachi ceviche, roasted duck breast, colorado lamb, beef tenderloin, the cheese course, the east harbor martini. the service was excellent, the were very patient in explaining the dishes and the wines.
My husband and I truly enjoy gourmet food and eating at fantastic restaurants both at home and when we travel. I can honestly say that this was the best food and service we've had in a very long time. The staff was friendly and helpful while maintaining an air of professionalism and courtesy. We have eaten at other restaurants that felt "stuffy" or "overbearing" but this was nothing like that at all. I felt comfortable asking questions about the menu, and appreciated the advice on wine pairings. Attention to detail was exquisite... they even brought my husband a new napkin when he got up to use the restroom. Valet parking was very much appreciated as well.
I would give this restaurant 6 stars if I could. :) Go there!
Wow! I love Charleston. It's pricey, but delicious. This is a great place to go out on a date or impress a date. The menu is set and you can choose among 3, 4, 5 or 6 courses. I have had the 5 course meals the few times I've been and they were all delicious. I have not been there since they've remodeled, but I hear it's a great trendy fine dining atmosphere. Can't wait to go back and check out the new decor and get another tasting menu.
