Martick's is Wonderful!: As eccentric as the dickens but with magnificent food prepared by a master. The pate is particularly good and the lamb is out of this world. Also, the bread pudding is very, very special. Do not miss this Baltimore treasure!

GO NOW!!!: Martick's is the best restaurant in Baltimore city. Hands down. Youare guaranteed an amazing experience there. The food is amazing, bought fresh everyday and prepared by Moe Martick himself who learned to cook in Paris. His family has owned the building since the 1800's and it used to be a speakeasy so you still have to be buzzed in. The decor is intriguing. The service is incredible. Get the Pate, the sweet potato soup, and the peach bread pudding! AMAZING! This restaurant will not be around forever. Every year he says he's going to retire so hurry before it's too late. This is where the people in the know in Baltimore go for a great meal.

Most Unuasual: Don't be scared off by the neighborhood or the building appearance. You can expect some of the best food in town just don't expect a wide variety of liquors or the best service in town. The interior of the restaurant is nothing short of intriguing. If you have the opportunity, get up and walk around. Snake skin wallpaper on one wall with airplane aluminum on another. Unusual statues and lighting abound. It was an experience that delighted all of the senses. I would, and have, recommended it to everyone.
