VERY disappointed..fish was luke warm and DRY, .....potatoes were mush........none of this was fresh cooked but taken out of trays and this food sat there much too long to be sold.
I went to Southern Blues on Sunday, August 29, 2010. My family of five purchased a full spread from BBQ Ribs - Pork & Beef, Pig Feet, Pork chops, Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, collard greens, macaroni and cheese, rice and gravy, french fries, corn bread, chocolate cake, sweet potatoe pie and strawberry cheese cake. I love their food normally, but their fried chicken and beef ribs were just ok this time. It was not all that hot or warm either. Their pork chops were nasty along rice with its store brought gravy. What really disappointed and insulted by their Sam's Club chocolate cake. I would know that cake anywhere. Hey I buy that for many parties I have and I could have also brought one from Sams Club myself instead of buying a slice of it from Southern Blues. Hopefully they will get it together and be like they were one year ago. Again like I said before, normally I love their food, but just not this time.
The food is great. I especially like the fact that they don't combine hot and cold food together. It is suppose to be separated. I'm very impress with their food practices. The atmosphere is mellow and the facility is clean. Make sure you visit Southern Blues for excellent home cooking from scratch.
