That Museum showed too much It was horable all thouse leeching and cats eating the bodies it harddly showed great black people but it show mostly violence it could have had information things about it but not wax figures i saw little chilren sacred in the museun it is not for 10 and under children i would say it is for adults mostly young. But I made all white people look so bad it did'nt even have wax figures of white people helping black or the change that is today It was wrong.
I am Black, Burmeese and white.
I am in the 7th grade i am also i will list five things that need inprovement.
1. its good to know the negitive but also try to state the positives.
2. try to show what the good whites did.
3. put more wax figures of great balck people.
4. show what has changed today.
5.tone down on the violence.

This is a must have place to see for all families, but most especially African American families. They do not teach Black history in schools and this museum lends an eye and at times an ear to the life from the Cleopatra, Bethsheba, the Middle Passage, and beyond. Watch as the awe and amazement individuals will see and feel from the life like and eery sounds of the slave ship, to the cruelty of the lynching room. The Great Blacks In Wax Museum is a wonderous venue not only for tourist but for history buffs of all ages.
Awesome: I thoroughly enjoyed the museum and the life-like statues. Reading, hearing and learning the history behind these great folks. Awesome!

What the museum showed was all true. I think many of todays youth have a rose colored view of history and need to see the atrocities and all the horrific ordeals our ancestors were forced to endure. Nothing was exaggerated or over-done, thats just how it was. And the only white person I know that put their LIFE on the line for our freedom was John Brown, and I do believe he is mentioned in the museum literature. Thanks for coming out young Lauren
IF I KNEW THIS I WOULD HAVE PICKED MY OWN COTTON
As I sift through the many grammatical errors, I suggest and hope that you stay in school sweetie. As FreedomWriter sates, this museum showed the truth about black history. It wasn't all negative, there were black inventors, doctors, politicians, teachers, writers ect. depicted. There were some helpful whites depicted in the exhibits as well not ALL bad. But being a museum about BLACKS I don't see why you think they should focus so much on whites.
