Taneytown Sandwich Company

Review based on take out food ...: I havent' actually visited this place myself, but my co-workers get lunch from here often and bring it back to the office. I must say that they have some really darn good sandwiches. Their club sandwiches and subs are stuffed good helpings with meat (no shortage at all!). I guess the only thing that would make their sandwiches better would be slightly thicker slices of bread so that we can taste the bread a little more (not sure if that's a bad or good thing, depending on what your preferences are). In any case, I really enjoyed the food, and hope to visit that location sometime myself.

Huge Sandwiches: It was PACKED (it was high lunch time). First of all it is not in Taneytown. It's in Catonsville, tucked off analley on Mellor Avenue. There are dozens of sandwhiches on the menu. Taneytown has no parkinglot, but there was space on the street, a short walk away. Try #59 the Gang Buster

Best local sandwich shop: You have to know where it is to find it, but once you do... Their overstuffed sandwiches are huge and great tasting! Plus their breakfast is awesome to boot. My only wish is that they were open longer on the weekends.
