   Phillip was great! I have very fine, limp hair that I've been struggling with for years. He listened to me when I told him I was growing my hair out and needed a style that would work for my less than stellar hair texture. The best part was after the cut, he made sure to show me how to duplicate his styling techniques at home and explain what kind of tools I needed to get the same results. When I left the salon, my hair looked ten times fuller. Now I'm just wondering why I didn't go to him sooner. Highly recommended.

   I have curly hair- I really wanted to get it cut like Katie Holmes- but I didn't know if it was possible- I left it Philip's capable hands- and it was perfect- even better than I was hoping for!

   My daughter and I both had hair appts today at the Phillip Micheal Studio. We were late getting there because we got lost!!! However, both gentleman were not angry and welcomed us in and both Phillip and Peter had awesome attitudes and were very upbeat. We both had dimensional color and highlights plus alot of hair cut off. Phillip did an amazing job not only listening to what she wanted, above that, he made it happen. Her hair looked 200% better and she liked it alot, that is saying alot for a 13 year old teenager. He was alot of fun. He did a fantastic , excellent cut and she has never looked prettier. It was her best haircut ever, If you want to look really fab.. look no further. Phillip clearly knows how to cut and color as well as listening to his clients needs. It was a happy , classy without too much" snobby we're the ultimate hair salon attitude", you know what I mean.... They have alot to be haughty about, yet they are truly humble when they have the talent to be haughty and are not. I
   respect that.
   
   On to Peter who cut my hair. I had the absolute best cut of my life. This man knows how to cut hair and highlight and color. I am so happy, that doesn't happen too often in my haircutting experiences! Peter is a very gentle soul and made me comfortable in the salon. I trusted him so much I actually closed my eyes and relaxed while he was cutting away... That's a first.. who does that? Usually, I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown wondering if I will have any hair left and visualizing the next hair disaster and how many tears will be shed over yet another bad hair day.... None this time, zero, nada. Peter can do it all and do it so that you will be pleased. I loved when he said take off your spectacles(hee hee) for glasses, his British accent is quite charming as well. His name is Peter Divine and that is how he cuts hair, divinely... He is a master at work and created a perfect work of art on me today!
   
   It is nice to see people who actually enjoy their job. So, I want you to know that you can feel confident that if you choose to get your hair cut here everything will be great and you will look amazing when you walk out of this salon on Federal Hill. They did not pay me to say this:) It was worth getting lost today to have the priveledge of having our hair cut at the Phillip Micheal Studio. Have your hair cut here and you will be glad you did!! We will have no hair nightmares tonight, just pleasant dreams. Just do it. Call them. They made two girls look pretty today. Thank you Phillip and Peter, you rock! You're next. YOU CAN TRUST THEM!!! One last thing.... My husband who has not made a comment in 15 years after my hair appts, loved my daughter's hair and actually made a nice comment about mine... Hey ladies...that's pretty amazing when an unobservant husband compliments you...that says it all.
