This is a great shop - I took my wife in to buy her first bow, and Len was very understanding and knowledgeable. He can be a little cocky at times, but he has earned that right (he's a mechanical engineer). He measured her draw length and found a suitable bow on the rack for her. She pulled it a few times, and then tried it on Macrotech's indoor range for a while. We ended up buying it, and Len set us up with arrows and accessories.
He doesn't try to rip you off at all - he allowed us to try various releases with the bow, and spent some time trying to find a release that was cheaper but performed the same as the one my wife liked. He even helped her with her form on the range, which was very nice of him.
I also had him service my bow. The first words out of his mouth were "this is a Bass Pro bow." He adjusted the silencers down so they stopped wearing on the strings. Then, he measured my draw and found that the bow was 3" too long for me (I inherited it, so that's understandable). He quickly reset it, and it shoots a lot better now. I don't have to wear an arm-guard any more! This service only cost $20, but it could have been influenced by our other purchases.
The store has basically every archery accessory one could ever need. I will most certainly be going back. His prices are very competitive - I can find the same bow for basically the same price online, but instant gratification and trying it out in person is more than worth buying from him.
