I was looking at a used Subaru there. The price was above the Kelly Blue Book value. I mentioned this to the salesman and he pretty much laughed in my face. He told me that no one goes by Kelly Blue Book and, "Kelly never sold a car." He went on to tell me that he didn't need my money and that he could sell the car for that price to anyone.
Don't buy a car here unless you feel like being ripped off by sleaziest of car salesmen.
Service severely lacking and scam-like: As soon as my Mazda Tribute was out of warranty, the games began. No more loaner vehicles, no more free car washes (they claimed the carwash was broken -- on 3 separate occassions!!). They always 'found' other issues during scheduled maintenance visits; none of which (conveniently) was ever warranty related. Final straw was when ABS failed (due to bad seal). Russell would not repair under recall notice even though this (failed ABS) was listed as a potential issue.
I brought my Jetta in for service. It was not finished on time, they gave me a loaner. This was my first experience using a loaner and I was given a paper to sign then I was handed the key and told it's out there, the silver Jetta. I went out and left with the loaner. When I got home my son pointed out damage on the front bumper. I told him they didn't seem to mind, they must have known about the damage. I went on my way and took excellent care of thet car and returned it in the same condition, (I did take the trash out from under the seats) I got it.
Wow, did the service manager ever ream me out. She yelled at me saying how that was a brand new car when she drove it the week before. I told her the damage was there when I got it but she wanted no part of that. Finally, she got the paperwork on the car and saw the damage had been reported prior to me using it. She gave no appologies, she just kept telling me how service should have fixed it. I couldn't care less about her problems at that point.
Sooo, I paid my 3K+ repair bill and saw they charged me for a windsheild wiper. I had a wiper at home but figured oh well, they saw it needed repacing and did it. I was wrong, my old wiper was still on the car. I called and they credited back the 14.00 but I still have this feeling: what about all the stuff under the hood that I wouldn't know if it was fixed or not? The car does run better, I have to add.
To sum it up, I paid a small fortune because my car didn't pass emmissions, then the car wasn't ready, but I did get a loaner but then I got yelled at, really yelled at for the condition of the car. I didn't like being yelled at. They loan cars all the time, would think they had the presents of mind to walk me around that car first. Nope, and I got yelled at.

04/17/2008. I find out my jetta had a recall on the tail lights since 2006. Why didn't these clowns fix it then when I paid the 3K repair bill???? I would NEVER use these clowns for anything ever again.
