I'll begin by saying they do good work. But they bill outrageously. The first time I took my car there I said it would be the last. I split my time between Towson and western Pennsylvania where I bought the car. Unfortunately for me, every time the car acts up it's in Towson. After the first episode, I called the garage where I bought it and told them what needed to be done. They quoted me about 60% of what Davidson charged me. After the second episode, which was last week, I saw they charged me $1071 for labor. I asked the labor rate and was told $99 per hour. Do the math. That comes to 10.81 hours. The car went in at8:15 am and was ready at 3:49 PM. That's 7hrs and 39 minutes and I'm positive they didn't work on it the entire time it was in the shop. Yes, they did call me and tell me what the cost was going to be. And yes, I did tell them to proceed. But you can't discuss a bill with 11 subtotals over the phone, especially when one doesn't know what they are talking about and ,frankly, I needed the car. They may be a five star Ford dealer, but I can't figure out how. Unfortunately, they are the only game left in town. Anyone have the name of a reputable independent repair shop? I can use one.

Buy a Honda and move closer to work. Hope this helps.
