Loews Hotels-Annapolis

At first glance, this seems like a nice hotel. We ended up being very disappointed. This is the first hotel I have ever stayed in where I had to pay an extra $22 to park. We were not told of this fee, it just appeared on our bill. Also, Our keys didn't work. I went back to the front desk 3 times and was given different keys. Finally, security was sent up. For 20 minutes we had to sit in front of our hotel room waiting for security. The staff was rude and part of the mini bar was already missing when we finally made it in our room. I would not reccommend this hotel nor would I ever stay in it again!

Entrance into the hotel lobby is quite nice - open feeling, bright, warm. Entering the room was quite different - worn entry door and torn carpet. The room was nicely laid out with nice furnishings; however, the drapes were torn and appeared to be a bit aged. The room heat would not function properly and the problem was throughout the hotel as it took 1 1/2 for an engineer to come fix the problem. He was extremely nice and apolgetic and ultimately the heater was fixed. Bar was very nice. Staff overall was nice and helpful. Breakfast was nice; however the seatback on the booth revealed torn fabric that otherwise would have been hidden by a pillow.
Very pet friendly hotel!

Overall an acceptable stay; however for an upperclass hotel rather disappointing.
