The food was fresh, the service impeccible, and the atmosphere devine. we would recommend the homemade gnocchi with the gorgonzola sauce. the fish of the day Bronzini) was cooked to perfection. we can't wait to go back with friends.

Somewhere new and wonderful in Annapolis to dine: Osteria 177 is not just a place to eat. Go there to dine. The restaurant is quite different from anything else Annapolis has to offer. It has been beautifully decorated with a modern, yet very comfortable ambiance. Stunning original artwork adorns the walls and can be enjoyed from roomy booths.
The service was of the highest quality. Our waiter was most attentive while remaining unobtrusive. His wine recommendation was superb. Other wait staff quietly kept water glasses filled and quickly cleared used plates off the table.
The Eggplant Timbale was spectacular and artfully presented. The Osso Bucco was tender, flavorful, and melted in the mouth. The reduction sauce was delicate and there was just enough to not overwhelm the dish. I would also highly recommend the Rockfish, which came with an innovative and interesting blend of flavors. I definitely want to order that on my next visit.
This restaurant has much to offer. In a word - yum!
