D J's Dance Studio

I found the dance teachers at this studio to be not very well trained. They seem to pick favorite stundents especially family members of teachers/owners.

i beg to differ: In response to the review written above, I would like to say that I have never experienced a problem with the size of the studio as it's plenty big enough for the class size .. As far as the recital no matter what date is picked someone will have an issue with it and you can't please everyone. I think the studio staff do a fantastic job, have a tremendous amout of patience and help our children become more independent !!! I say keep up the great work!!!!!!

Toddlers Do Their Thing: DJ's is one of the few dance studios that we found that takes toddlers as early as 18 months of age. They do a great job with instructional guidance as well as an occasional hug or nose wipe. The classes are a good size and the children seem to enjoy themselves. For your shopping convenience, there is a dance supply store right on the premises. The down side is the size of the studio. DJ's seems to have outgrown their space, especially the parent's waiting and child retreival area. You will find yourself stepping over children and bumping into parents at the start and end of each session. In between it's hard to find a seat. THe recital is also late in the year. Father's day is not such a great date for a recital. Suggestion: make classes at least 10-15 minutes apart or get a larger studio. Make recital in May.
