    As a regular customer of Chris's we suddenly retired to Ft. Ashby, WV, just south of Cumberland, MD. Wanting to "kill two birds with one stone" in our visit to the Annapolis area, we wanted to add seeing our family as well as attending the annual hobby-club picnic. We wanted a quiet, family-welcome, and semi-private place to meet our loved ones. I telephoned first to make sure it was still there on west street and essentially the same as before. It was! These people had an eight person table with a high chair all ready for us and the food and service was excellent. We were able to continue our commaradery outside the restaurant afterwards in the quiet parking lot. For maximum privacy for such a gathering I'd recommend arriving at 5PM, and then everything will work out great for a wonderful, if brief, family reunion.

    The food IS great here but they are rude on many levels. For instance today I tried to order carry out and the phone rang off the hook - I went over there and found they're on vacation. Haven't these people heard of an answering service or machine? With gas prices over 4 bucks a gallon they wasted alot of my money for being so blind or inconsiderate... The pastitsio is great tho!

    Place is great... I've been going there for almost 25 years. The staff is very friendly and never forgets a face. They do have vacation time that I can never remember, but the food is great!!!
