The lap top computer that I purchased here turned out to be defective. It had an intermittent problem, it squeaked and whirred and made strange noises ("mice like" according to a friend who also heard it.)
I took it back within the allocated time period, the "sales associate" booted it and after less than 5 minutes proclaimed that there was nothing wrong with it!
They refused to give me a replacement model so I was stuck with either paying an exorbitant restocking fee of over $145.00 or keeping a defective computer. (Upon doing some research it appears that restocking fees are a way some stores are trying to increase their profits.) When I tried to talk to someone by telephone, the clerk hung up on me. I returned to the store and asked for a refund of the restocking fee, they refused to give it to me then stated that they were going to put it through diagnostics and they would contact me the next day. It has been 3 days, no one has gotten back to me.
If you shop at this store, be aware that the associates are NOT well trained on the products, customer service is far from service. There are terms printed on the back of their sales receipt - the old fine print, but you do not get that until you have purchased the item, so you are in a "Catch 22" situation.
They may have gotten their restocking fee, to report as "profit" ... I will not recommend that anyone shop there.
Personally, I would be embarassed to treat a customer like that.
If you need a computer go to someone who knows what they are selling and is professional, courteous and reasonable about it.
