Bathroom needs ALOT of work. Portions are small. Service is good & quick. Kitchen (as far as I can see) looks clean. Food is tasty. I will go back! Unfortunately I agree w/Susan on the ground beef thing & tomato puree salsa. Just a few minor improvements needed.

El Salto Rocks. We've been going there for years. The food is cheap, tasty, and of reasonable proportions. Free, unlimited chips and salsa. The margaritas are lovely too. Our kids love the place, and the incredibly friendly and helpful staff seems to really enjoy the kids too. Sure, the "vegetarian" selection is somewhat limited, and there are finer "GourMex" places around, but if you're looking for basic Mexican fare, this is the place. Try one of the "welcome back" entrees; they're especially good. Personal favorites include the Fajita Quesadilla (big as your head), Burrito con Pollo Asada, and Pollo Ranchero.

We go there often because a) we enjoy it and b) frequent visits are affordable.

I"ve been to Mexico and I know what real Mexican food tastes like. The food they make is watered down and cheap. They use pureed tomotaes from a can for there tortilla dip. When I ordered tacos, they gave me "beef" tacos, which tasted and looked like cat or dog food. Trust me, they are not authentic. If you do not believe me, please visit Mexico and you'll understand what I mean.

RIGHT ON! I can't understand why ANYONE thinks this is good! I was just commenting (went there for dinner last night) about my thoughts that the meat was from a can! Disgusting!
