First time visit, and may not return. Menu looked great (weren't in the mood for sushi) - miso soup good and well priced. Pork lettuce wrap good, but not a lot of pork for the price. Main meal disappointing - waiter recommended greek duck curry was very much too spicy and contained the eggs we had asked to do without. Very small portion for the price - and most will likely be thrown out. Steak special was only average (at $24) - the steak had no seasoning at all and was too charred on the outside for my taste. Came with french fries - a disappointment again for the price.
Service was good, so I may return to try some of the less expensive dishes (pizza, burger), but I certainly wouldn't travel any great distance just to go here.
For what I paid ($90 for two people!), I should have eaten across the street at "Out of the Fire" - more flavor and quantity for your money.
I recently went here with friends on a cold Monday night. The service was fast, and the food was great! If you like sushi, this is by far the best place to eat in Easton! Definitely try the coconut shrimp roll and the choptank pizza, you won't be sorry.
We recently went to General Tanuki's for my husband's birthday. The food was really very good, but the service was terrible.
I highly recommend the spring rolls - much better than expected!!
My husband had a fish special, which he liked very much, but wished it came with a sauce or something to moisten the dish.
I had blackened pork which were tasty but so unbeleivably hot, I could only eat half. I mentioned this to the waitress, saying the dish could use something like a fruit salsa to cool it down, but got a blank stare in return.
I think the prices are a little ambitious for what they serve and for the atmosphere, but we'd probably go back.

I agree with you. When they first opened the food was great. I heard their Chef left and it has never been the same. I stick to the appetizers which are very good; esp. the fish taco and another one that is strips of beef in a brown sauce??? Their peanut salad dressing is to die for. If I want speciality pizza I will go to Out of the Fire.
