We have been going to the Fisherman's Inn since the 1970s, 2 or 3 times a year. Lived in Maryland 40 plus years. The Fisherman's Inn has been a a stable family owned business that knows seafood.  Their menus may change but quality has been consistant. Not all "seafood restrauants" serve real seafood, some consider fish seafood.  They know how to serve lobster, clams, shrimp, crab, oysters and fish in many wonderful recipes as well and serve excellent chicken and beef. Have never been disappointed. Service has been good to excellent but one must plan to make reservations or be part of a crowd during Spring/Summer weekends.  Many restaurants in the area have changed owner's and management, Fisherman's has been stable (70 years) on the same site - concerned about their business, the community, and the Chesapeake Bay.  I now live in NC and whenever I am visiting in Maryland I try to go to the Fisherman's Inn.  The Inn is a pleasant "by the sea" restaurant with a model train that travel on the ceiling track,  The Deck is like a dock on the water atmosphere. Food is excellant at either.Only negative could be "BAY BRIDGE TRAFFIC" in the summer.

Just let me say this...If you are looking for a nice spot in Maryland to sample one of the best seafood dishes around, Find your way to this spot. may I suggest you try Maryland's famous fish...Rock Fish stuffed with crab... I swear if I could speak french I would say this dish is tre magnific. Not only is the fish some of Maryland's best But the crab marinated in thier special cheese sauce is...is...well..it's of the friggin hook. May I also add please try the shrimp & crab Alfredo also a excellent dish worth the taste test. The ambiance is great and the service isn't half bad...So when in Maryland drop past!
