One of the best Indian restaurants I have visited in the US. As K. L points out, the UK is blessed with the best selection, those of us in the USA have to make do :-)
Punjab is a local favorite. I have many friends and collegues from India, and they hold the restaurants in very high esteem (and they will know for sure!). Recommended dishes include....everything on the menu! Great service, great food. Go now - you won't be disappointed.

I have traveled extensively and quite often to the UK, which has some of the best Indian Restaurants on the planet.
I have never been able to find an Indian Restaurant in the States even on par with those in the UK.
Best Indian I ever had was place in Glasgow, Scotland. Second best... Punjab Cafe, Quincy, MA.
Thank you for being there. You allow me to get my Curry fix and not have to pay the airfare to the UK.
Seriously though, very good food, great staff, reasonable prices. A few of the staff know my name, which I thought was quite nice. I am a regular, but many people these days don't take the time to know anybody's name. I have been going there since I moved to the South Shore over 7 years ago. Food is still great!

Very bad dishes. First time in my life I ate Rogan Josh (lamb) in creamy almond sauce. Sauce of malai kofta and rogan josh was same !! sweet & creamy rogan josh no, never !

Maybe it was because it was the first time you tired a new dish? The food is excellent there.
