Ate there for the first time the other day. Service was good as they were always ready to refill the chips and salsa and drinks. I ordered the steak and chicken fajitas. The portion was a good bit more than I was used to getting at other Mexican restaurants. The taste was very good and although I found the sauce/marinade a bit thick, I would order it again. My wife ordered the taco salad which came in a huge edible bowl (usual), however the bowl was recently fried or flash fried giving it a great fresh taste. We had heard mixed reviews on R's, but we were impressed. Can't wait to go back and try the fried ice cream!!

A+ CUSTOMER SERVICE
Wow, what an amazing way to get the issues I had resolved. My original review scathed the location for poor service, pricing, food quality, and portions. After reading my review and e-mail that I sent, Rick the manager invited me and my party back for an on the house dinner.
We told him a ballpark time of when we would arrive and did not say who we were when we came. Our service was exceptional, the waiter was fantastic, food cooked perfectly, and when everything was out of the kitchen I informed him of who I was and that he had really fixed pretty much every issue.
Pricing is still a little high, but this place deserves an A+ for owning up to its mistakes and really going out of their way to get back on track.
If you go, tell Rick that it was his great customer service that got the recommendation.
