User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI was born in New York City within the Little Italy area. I love all foods and of course home cooking! Living in the Maryland area I've found three excellent restaurants serving Italian cuisine in Bethesda. I now can say that "Nido Italiano" is my favorite. Excellent food, decent proportions, with proper pricing. I've mentioned this restaurant to friends only to discover they've been eating there for some time. My last time there was with a friend from out of state. Before leaving he purchased a few jars of their sauce. I also found the atmosphere relaxing. For me this is a 5-star establishment; rating it for their fine foods. - Tony.

Most underrated restaurant in Frederick. See also Marcela's in Walkersville. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the sauces are great!
Reasonable prices and portions. House wine is drinkable and won't break the bank.
Try the seafood calamari over linguini.
Note - they stopped making their own pasta several years ago, but it is still very good - just not as good as it was....

perfect atmosphere, great food, great selection and courteous and informed staff, Nido's is the best italian you can get in the city
If you have'nt been; You simply have to make the trip
conveniently located across from the library and in the heart of the city, Nido's occupies the casual italian experience that every city has to have
cheap prices, great food
I'd recommend the seafood sampler with herb and garlic sauce
