I have had very different experiences with Dr. Lehigh and the office than the previous reviewer. My husband has gone to Dr. Lehigh his whole life and had nothing but good things to say, so I decided to make him my primary care physician. I had bad experiences with two previous primary doctors and had been hoping to find someone helpful and dependable since moving to MD. I had mono and he took his time, asking questions about my symptoms and took necessary bloodwork at followup appointments. His staff is always very friendly to me. I am happy to finally have a primary I feel I can talk to and who takes the time to answer all of my questions.
Nice people, nice practice. Dr. Lehigh seems ok to me. Don't go by appearances. Looks can be decieving. Old building but very nice people.
Small town doctor: Office is old and not attractive... but if that sort of thing doesn't bother you, it won't be an issue.
The older woman at the front desk didn't greet me or even look up at me. I had to ask her what to do to be seen, and then she quickly explained to me that I had to sign in and sit down.
When seen by Dr. Lehigh, he was very quick. I tried explaining my symptoms to him, and before I was even finished he had written me a prescription for a very expensive anti-biotic for which where is no generic alternative. No bedside manner, and he made me feel very rushed.
When I went to pay my copay, the woman at the billing desk was on the phone (sounded like a personal call).. when she was done, she stood up and started cursing, then grabbed all of her personal items from her desk and walked out yelling "I'm DONE with this place!"
I'm not at all impressed with Dr. Lehigh, his building, or any of his staff. I'm already looking for another doctor.
