User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFantastic seafood: Have been to this restaurant several times and the seafood is terrific. Anything with the crab cakes is good. Make sure you add a pail of shrimp to your main course! They hand-cut their own fries and they are yummy.
Great down to earth location. No fuss no frills just great food.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAlways a great meal!: The Lockhouse is a great restaurant overall. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the food is delicious. Personally I have always chosen the Seafood or Steak dishes, however they also have much more: chicken, vegetable and Italian fare, just to name a few. The homemade soups and desserts are wonderful and not to be passed by!
For the tri-state area in which we live The Lockhouse is my choice! The quality of the food is so very tasteful and the price makes this a must if you are visiting the area. The restaurant is located beside of the historic C&O Canal, which provides much of its' character and charm. Enjoy!!
